Ingredients

  • Ash gourd – ½ cup
  • Carrot -15 gms
  • Drumstick -1 no
  • Beans – 5-6 nos
  • Sweet potato- 1 small
  • Raw Mango – 2 pieces (optional)
  • curd -1 tsp

For the grinding

  • Grated coconut – 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds /Jeera – 1/2 tsp
  • Green chilli -1
  • For the seasoning
  • Cooking oil- ½ tsp
  • Curry leaves – 4-5

Method

  1. Coarsely grind grated coconut, green chillies and cumin seeds. Keep it aside.
  2. Pressure cook the rest of the vegetables adding salt and turmeric powder for 2 whistles.You can cook in open pan also. The vegetables should be soft but not mushy. (use very less water and cook)
  3. Add the grounded coconut paste and cook for a few minutes. Remove from flame.
  4. Add curd and mix well. Check for salt. Season with oil and curry leaves.
  5. Serve it hot.
