Scrambled egg whites with spinach

Ingredients

  • Chopped Spinach,finely chopped – 2 tbsp
  • Chopped Onions – 1 small
  • Egg whites – 2
  • Salt & black pepper powder as per taste
  • Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp
  • Red Chili Powder – ¼ tsp
  • Oil – ½ tsp

Method

  1. Heat oil in a skillet and saute onions till translucent.
  2. Add the chopped spinach along with some salt and saute for 3-4 minutes till the spinach becomes soft and cooked. Add a little bit of water while the spinach is cooking to keep the mixture moist.
  3. Whisk 2 eggs whites in a large bowl together with salt, turmeric powder,chilly powder and pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture into the pan and stir and cook for about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Serve this scrambled egg and spinach.
