Dry Chutney

Ingredients

  • Raw Peanuts- 2 tbsp
  • Oats – 1 tbsp
  • Garlic- 3 cloves
  • Dry red chilli- 1
  • Red chilli powder- ½ tsp
  • Curry leaves-2-3
  • amchur powder – half tsp

Method

  1. In a pan/kadai, dry roast peanuts, oats & garlic on a low flame till it crackles & raw smell goes away.
  2. Mid way, add curry leaves, and continue to roast till red chillies, amchur powder  and curry leaves have turned crisp. Transfer to a plate.
  3. When everything has cooled to room temperature, transfer everything to a mixer jar, add some salt and grind to a medium coarse powder. Don’t make it too smooth.
  4. Store it in an air tight container & refrigerate it can store for a month.
