Tips to “QUIT SMOKING”

Want to QUIT SMOKING but confused how to start?? You need to keep patience as it will take sometime to come out of this. 

Follow these tips step by step- 
1. Its hard to start but fix a day on which you want to quit the smoking or try to reduce the smoking slowly.
2. If you have made up your mind to quit smoking post you have decided a day tell your friends,family or co-workers & ask them to remind you about the date in case you forget or create a reminder in your mobile for the same also throw all the cigarettes & ashtrays away from you in garbage.
3. Stay away from the smoker groups.Ask friends and family who smoke to not smoke around you if they are doing so.

4. You will almost certainly feel the urge to smoke many times during your quit day, but it will pass. The urge to smoke often comes and goes within 3 to 5 minutes.The following actions may help you to battle the urge to smoke. 
a) Stock up on oral substitutes, such as hard candy, sugarless gum, carrot sticks, beetle leaf (sounds weird but it works 2 leaves is good to go in a day), and toothpicks. 
b) Deep breathe. Breathe in slowly through your nose for a count of three and exhale through your mouth for a count of three. Visualize your lungs filling with fresh air. 
c) Drink water sip by sip to beat the craving.
d) Do something else to distract yourself. Perhaps go for a walk.
